You are invited to a happy hour to meet and greet the winner of The Colonial Players 2013 Promising Playwright Competition! John Fiorillo, the author of the winning play “Dancing Backwards” will be at a happy hour upstairs at Harry Browne’s restaurant on Saturday, July 20th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Promising Playwright Competition was started in 1973 in celebration of the the 25th season and to honor of the memory of patroness Virginia Hefler. The winner of the biennial competition receives a cash prize of $1000 and is invited to Annapolis for a weekend of workshops to discuss playwrighting as well as the production and design possibilities in conjunction with producing the show. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Fiorillo to Annapolis!
