Behind every lens is a photographer. Beyond mastering the craft of photography is the art of translating what the photographer sees or feels when viewing the scene in front of them. What inspires the photographer to capture that specific moment in time? Is it the quality of the light, the color, the “decisive moment”, or the knowledge of the subject that lets the photographer isolate what is important in that little slice of the scene in the viewfinder? Over time, the photographer constantly refines the what and the how that excites them and stimulates the desire to capture the image and share it with all who care to look.
