The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) is pleased to present author Donna Jackson Nakazawa, interviewed by Dr. Christina Bethell, to discuss her forthcoming book, The Angel and The Assassin: The Tiny Brain Cell That Changed the Course of Medicine'.
Ms. Jackson Nakazawa is an award-winning journalist and internationally recognized speaker whose work explores the intersection of neuroscience, immunology, and human emotion. Her mission is to translate emerging science in ways that help those with chronic conditions find healing. As the topics of trauma informed care and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and their relationship to health outcomes continue to be at the forefront of conversations in our community, Ms. Jackson Nakazawa’s exciting research, reporting, and books are bringing new hope and healing to those affected by physical and mental illness.
