Get down with The Dirty Grass Players while sampling local craft beer from Bull and Goat Brewery, sweet treats from Nice Farms Creamery, and food from Bay Shore Steam Pot and 4 Sisters Kabob and Curry. As the day cools, take a leisurely stroll in the woods and join in a game or two.
Hailing from Baltimore, The Dirty Grass Players have established themselves with one toe-tapping foot in traditional bluegrass and blazing musicianship that pushes boundaries. This four-piece is successfully bringing their growing fan base a down, dirty, and heated performance. Their ability to seamlessly transition from down-home bluegrass to spirited improvisation makes each performance unique. Throw in some Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, or a dash of southern rock, and you’ll quickly understand what they mean by "dirty grass." The 2017 winners of the Charm City Bluegrass & Folk Festival Band Competition, the group has been busy touring the East Coast and recording a new album. Check out a sample of their playing here.
Advance registration is greatly appreciated! Seating is available but limited—bringing chairs and/or a blanket is highly advised.
