Opening Ceremony - Friday, June 3rd
Time to get started. We kick off the event by honoring everyone who's been affected by cancer and everyone who has contributed to the success of this year's Relay season.
Survivor/Caregiver Victory Lap – Friday, June 3rd
Survivors and Caregivers are the heart and soul of Relay For Life events. We honor their strength and courage with every step they take. It doesn't matter if you were diagnosed 10 days ago or 10 years ago, you can walk while everyone gathers together to cheer you on.
Luminaria Ceremony - Friday, June 3rd
During this ceremony we represent everyone touched by cancer with a Luminaria. Each light represents a life—a life taken by cancer, a survivor of cancer, or a support for a person still fighting the disease. It's a powerful demonstration that gives people the opportunity to grieve but also offers comfort and hope. Luminaria may be dedicated on-line for a $10 donation, prior to the event by clicking on this link. Luminaria may also be dedicated at the event until 8:30 pm at the Luminaria Tent. Dedicate a Luminaria to a loved one lost (in memory of), someone currently battling, or anyone who has overcome cancer (in honor of).
Ongoing Fundraising – All Year
Fundraising activities take place throughout the year, not only during the event. Funds are critical for research to find a cure for cancer, support Survivors and Caregivers, fund Hope House to provide lodging for families during cancer treatments, fund transportation for cancer patients to treatment and so much more.
