The Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park (AMM) invites maritime enthusiasts to its Volunteer Open House on Saturday, February 28th, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, held at the Museum campus – 723 Second Street, Annapolis, MD 21403. The event offers an opportunity for the community to learn how volunteers play a vital role in advancing AMM’s mission to educate youth and adults about the rich maritime heritage of Annapolis and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay.
Attendees will meet staff, explore volunteer roles, and discover how their time and talents can support one of the region’s leading cultural and environmental education organizations. Opportunities span a wide range of interests and skill sets, including: Education program support, Museum docent and visitor engagement, Special events assistance, Archives and collections support, Garden and grounds maintenance, Boat maintenance and woodworking, and Crew participation aboard the historic skipjack Wilma Lee.
No registration is required. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact the AMM Volunteer Coordinator, at volunteer@amaritime.org or complete our volunteer form online at amaritime.org/about/volunteer.
