Annapolis Runs for Love is a 5K/1 mile fun run that will be held on Saturday, March 25th 2023. This is a community event hosted by the One Love Club of Annapolis High School to benefit the One Love Foundation and the YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. This year's event is sponsored by Dr. Mairead O'Reilly and About Smiles Dentistry. The One Love Foundation was created in memory of Baltimore native, Yeardley Love who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend during her senior year at University Of Virginia. Yeardley’s family created the One Love Foundation as a way to educate our youth on healthy relationships so as to put an end to domestic violence. Yeardley’s death was avoidable if the people in her life had truly understood the unhealthy and increasingly dangerous relationship behaviors they were seeing. We want to change this.
