Annapolis Small Business & Smart Technology - Free Webinar

This program is exclusively for Businesses and Residents in the City of Annapolis.

The BGE Connected Home and Small Business Demonstration (CHBD) is a technology trial taking place in Annapolis, MD that provides FREE connected technologies to 200 residents and small businesses in the city.

This free zoom webinar will explain to Annapolis Small Businesses how they can sign up for a chance to participate in this free trial that includes free smart technology equipment.

The goal is to evaluate the potential impact of these technologies on energy reduction, financial savings, and other lifestyle areas like convenience, accessibility, and security. Participants are divided into four “Journeys,” each with its own specific technology package.

The Demonstration will take place in 2020 and participants will provide feedback on their experiences through surveys and focus groups. BGE will also be comparing energy use data during the Demonstration to previous years to identify any energy reductions.

The Demonstration is part of Connected Communities, a larger initiative taking place where BGE works with the City and stakeholders to identify areas where the utility can improve quality of life through its infrastructure and services.
