AACLC 4th Annual Literacy Lights the Way Walk-a-thon
The walk will take place on the beautiful Baltimore and Annapolis Trail between Marley Station Mall and Jumpers Hole Road in Glen Burnie.
Information about registration, the route, and the walk is available at the Literacy Council’s website: www.icanread.org. Walkers can register from the website’s “Donate” link — for those unable to participate, donations are also accepted at the website. Registration is $25, and there is no fee for AACLC students and children 16 and under.
Free snacks, fun games, D.J. music, and water will be provided. Prizes will be awarded to every child who participates. The walk is wheel-chair and stroller accessible, and friendly, leashed pets are welcome.
