Athletes for the Arts
Maryland Hall 801 Chase Street , Annapolis, Maryland 21401
We are launching a new fundraiser and advocacy event on January 27, 2021. Athletes for the Arts is a hybrid live and streaming event highlighting the importance of arts education in the lives of our youth. We will share stories of athletes and celebrities who have found artistic success to underscore the critical role of the arts in developing well rounded people. The evening will feature former Navy & NFL Fullback Erik Kettani, Baltimore arts activist and former NFL linebacker Aaron Maybin and Grammy nominated Jazz vocalist Nnenna Freelon.
We're partnering with exciting likeminded organizations on this endeavor. Over the next couple months we will share their missions with you, starting today with the NFL Players Association Professional Athletes Foundation.
The Professional Athletes Foundation (PAF) is a non-profit organization that works to support, inspire, and strengthen former NFL players and their families in unique and meaningful ways. The PAF is dedicated to helping their players "win at home" by becoming leaders in their communities, providing 150 scholarships to graduating high school seniors every year, and leading vital research on depression, hearing loss, sleep apnea and the emotional transition from competitive sports.
