Beauty in Diversity: A Celebration of Diversity Through Art

Please join us for Beauty in Diversity, a networking reception celebrating diversity through art in the Annapolis community. The event will be held Friday, August 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wiley H. Bates Legacy Center (1101 Smithville Street, Annapolis). The Legacy Center shares the history of Wiley H. Bates High School, the only high school available for African Americans in Anne Arundel County from 1932 to 1966. The Center displays documents and collections that preserve the African American experience.

The Junior League of Annapolis is pleased to host a diverse group of Maryland artists at the event. Preview their work and purchase a piece for yourself while supporting the talents of those in our community.

This event is open to JLA members and the public. Tickets will be $10 per person and will include wine and charcuterie.
