#BlackWomenLead Congress: The Difference They Make and the Road They Took to Get There
The Goldstein Program in Public Affairs is hosting a virtual talk on March 17 with featured guest Kimberly Peeler-Allen, a recognized leader in training, supporting and expanding Black women in political leadership.
The number of women of color elected to office has surged in the past two years—but the groundwork has taken much longer. Peeler-Allen provides a front-line view of the hard work involved in getting more Black women elected to Congress and how their increased numbers benefit all Americans.
The event is scheduled for March 17 at 4 PM. Registration is required but there is no cost to attend. Anyone interested can register here.
