The Boneshakers Bring Their Iconic Funk and Soul to Easton’s Avalon Theatre — May 4
Easton, MD — Legendary guitarist Randy Jacobs and his powerhouse band The Boneshakers are set to electrify the Avalon Theatre on Sunday, May 4th, delivering an unforgettable night of soul, funk, and rock. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show kicks off at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $25 (fees not included) and are available now.
Known for their dynamic live performances and a sound that fuses Detroit soul with Muscle Shoals-style R&B, The Boneshakers are led by Randy Jacobs — famously described by music icon Don Was as "one of the funkiest and most original guitar players on Earth." Jacobs and the band have an impressive collective résumé, having toured and recorded with greats such as Bonnie Raitt, BB King, Seal, Keb' Mo', Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Mindi Abair, Bootsy Collins, Tears for Fears, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, and Iggy Pop, among many others.
Special guests The Eric Scott Trio will open the evening. Hailing from Washington, D.C., the Trio is celebrated for their energetic blend of modern soul, fiery guitar work, and Eric Scott's gospel-influenced vocals. With six acclaimed albums to his name, Scott’s single “Peace Bomb” climbed to #13 on the UK Top 30 Soul Charts in 2020. Guitarist Dan Leonard and drummer Deren Blessman round out the trio, who also perform internationally with blues star Deanna Bogart. Their first live album is set for release in Summer 2025.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience two powerhouse acts in one unforgettable evening!
