“One of the most accomplished music directors currently on the podium of an American Opera house” (Opera News) James Conlon presents two of the most famous voices in opera, soprano Christine Goerke and bass-baritone Greer Grimsley. They join the BSO for a Wagner spectacular featuring “Ride of the Valkyries” and the final scene from Die Walküre. The program also features Beethoven’s light-hearted Symphony No. 8.
This event repeats on Fri., February 11 at 8 pm and Sun., February 13 at 3 pm at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore and on Sat., February 12 at 8 pm at The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, MD.
