James Ronayne is a senior at Annapolis High School. He is an Environmental Photographer and oyster conservationist. James works closely with several
environmental and bay related non-profits including Chesapeake Oyster Alliance, Coastal Conservation Association of Maryland, and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. He has testified before the Senate on important environmental bills and worked with watermen to achieve the goal of a healthy Chesapeake Bay. He is an established
oyster gardener, CBF Oyster Ambassador and member of the Student Leadership Council at CBF.
Kimmy Stevenson is a senior at Indian Creek School. She has a passion for the visual arts and explores mediums from traditional painting and charcoal to graffiti art. She
focused on pen and ink for this exhibit. She is the Student Liaison for the Board of Directors of Maryland Federation of Art and the founder and President of the ICS Art
Club. She hopes to study business and art in college. Growing up on the water gave Kimmy a unique appreciation for her hometown and local community. Much of
Kimmy’s work showcases the Chesapeake Bay ecosystems and it’s iconic and diverse wildlife.
