Over 100 antique boats are invited to the St. Michaels Classic Boat Festival Friday, June 18 through Sunday, June 20, 2021.
Spend the day with the family at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, MD and enjoy an historic array of boats, from runabouts to cruisers — hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. Something for all age groups is at the Festival.
This is complete boating Festival with many features like The Arts at Navy Point with an exhibit of juried or award-winning displays of nautical themed home decor on the 17 acres covered by this festival. The Sea Glass Lady will be there.
Hagerty Youth Judging invites aspiring teen boaters to judge several classic boats on Saturday for a special award given to a boat owner during Sunday’s ceremony.
Knot-Tying for Early Boaters. each participating child will learn how to tie a Bow, then a Bowline, a Square Knot, and a Hitch with repeat practice, followed by a short movie via iPad demonstrating how other knots are tied. The children take their knot board home with them.
