Cryin’ Out Loud Brings the Soul of the Blues to Spiralis Gallery

Easton, Md — September 5, 2025 — Cryin’ Out Loud is a new group exhibition at Spiralis Gallery that channels the raw spirit of the Blues through painting, installation, and mixed media. Opening September 5, the show celebrates one of America’s most powerful cultural traditions, exploring themes of sorrow, survival, protest, and joy.

Highlights include Susan Lenz’s installation “Blues Chapel,” honoring the early women of the Blues, and works by Dane Tilghman, Don O’Bannon, and Emery Franklin, whose art reflects the resilience and emotional depth of the genre.
