Dementia 101: Understanding the Changes and Developing Coping Skills.

On Wednesday, September 11th, at 6:00 p.m., Mary Chaput, Program Director of Family Caregiver Support Programs at the Department of Aging and Disabilities, will present “Dementia 101: Understanding the Changes and Developing Coping Skills." This workshop session will cover a basic understanding of dementia and how it affects the individual diagnosed and their caregivers. Communication tools and strategies for coping with changing behaviors will also be discussed. This workshop will be held at the Michael E. This workshop is presented at no cost to the public through the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
