▪ The show is sponsored by the Potomac Decoy Collectors Association, one of the region’s largest and most active clubs dedicated to preserving and celebrating the art and history of American waterfowl decoys.
▪ One of the hallmarks of the Annapolis Decoy Show is public education. This year, representatives from the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum, the Upper Bay Museum, and the Ward Foundation will attend with information on special exhibits and events.
▪ Attendees can view, buy, sell and trade antique and contemporary duck decoys, hunting and fishing items, paintings, prints and sporting art, books, hunting and fishing licenses, shell boxes, fishing lures, knives, advertising, ephemera and other vintage collectibles and accessories from more than 40 dealers.
▪ World-class contemporary decoy carvers from Maryland will be exhibiting and attendees can purchase their incredible works.
▪ The public is invited to bring in their old decoys for free appraisals. PDCA and Decoy Magazine, the premier national publication for decoy collectors, will provide free informal decoy identification and valuation. At last year’s show, decoys worth over $1,000 each were identified and appraised. #
