I am Christine Hunt, a Life Wellness Coach with Hunt for Hope Wellness and I specialize in the emotional aspects of life's struggles. I have partnered with Erica Gutierrez, a Nutrition and Health Coach with Isagenix, to bring these monthly sessions to you.
Let’s face it, losing weight can be a struggle and would you agree that it has emotional consequences? Feelings like I’m a failure, or what’s wrong with me or not being able to control your eating when you get stressed or upset about something? And you might have tried accepting your weight, but deep down inside, you know that’s not who you are! This is emotional baggage that keeps you stuck in patterns of stress, destructive behavior and thinking toxic thoughts.
We are hard-wired to default to the calories in/calories out paradigm as the way to lose weight. And, technically that’s what it is about. However, what is behind why we eat the way we do – particularly stress eating – when you eat a whole bag of candy or cookies or stand in front of the fridge and eat, what’s causing that? That adds calories, right but the eating is an emotional reaction.
What if you could break that emotional cycle? What if you could eliminate the underlying reasons why you get stressed or don't appreciate yourself?

This is the missing piece in most all weight loss efforts – the emotional journey. That’s what I help you with and the difference between me and other coaches, is that I use an alternative therapy that has been clinically proven to reduce stress more effectively and with longer lasting results than meditation and many other therapies. It’s called Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT and also known as Tapping.
Sessions will be on the 4th Wednesday of each month, from 8 - 9:30 p.m. ET.
