Environmental Leadership Celebration

Maryland LCV invites you to be a distinguished sponsor of our 20^th annual signature event, Environmental Leadership Celebration. Known as Maryland’s premier non-partisan political event for the environment since 2001, our fundraiser will once again bring together more than 300 of our state’s most influential business leaders, elected officials, environmental advocates, and philanthropists to celebrate clean water, healthy air, and climate justice. 

This year, our togetherness is more important than ever. We’ve reimagined our 2021 event to allow for in-person gathering while following COVID-19 safety measures and retaining the event’s most sought-after elements: networking, awards, and celebration. 

Outdoors on the banks of the Patapsco in Fells Point, we’ll learn from climate policy changemakers, honor environmental leaders, and inspire all you doers for bolder action on behalf of Maryland’s land, air, water, and communities. Join us on September 23 at 4pm for the keynote address by Kelly Speakes-Backman, Acting Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy, on the opportunity and responsibility for Maryland to be a leader in achieving 100% clean power. And then stay on to celebrate Maryland’s environmental leaders and collaborate over luscious libations and local delectable small plate fare.
