CFAAC is dedicated to addressing the most critical needs in Anne Arundel County. In 2020, the Fund for Anne Arundel will focus its resources on programs that support opportunities for healthy, thriving, and successful children to flourish in our communities.
Ms. Jackson Nakazawa is an award-winning journalist and internationally recognized speaker whose work explores the intersection of neuroscience, immunology, and human emotion. Her mission is to translate emerging science in ways that help those with chronic conditions find healing. As the topics of trauma informed care and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and their relationship to health outcomes continue to be at the forefront of conversations in our community, Ms. Jackson Nakazawa’s exciting research, reporting, and books are bringing new hope and healing to those affected by physical and mental illness.
