This exhibition includes European and middle-Eastern medieval Bibles, prayer books, psalters, breviaries, and other sacred manuscripts. Examples from Hebrew texts, leaves from the Koran and the Persian epic poem, “Shahnameh” (the Persian “Book of Kings”), are included.
