Pianist George Bowerman has performed an extensive offering of classical composers at a variety of venues; he has chosen to share his talent for benefit performances, among others. His commentary adds to the enjoyment of the classical music chosen.George Bowerman’s recent honors include Second Prize in the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition and a semi-finalist award in the Seattle International Piano Competition. He is also an alumnus of and now adjudicates for the Young Artist Piano Competition in Westfield, Massachusetts. The concert is offered as part of the Arts and Woods concert series at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis. Brian Ganz serves as Artistic Director of the series.
