On January 24th, 2019 the Alliance for The Chesapeake Bay is hosting our first Wild & Scenic Film Festival at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Annapolis, MD. The Alliance is excited to present this community event, and looks forward to bringing together people with a common appreciation of the earth and the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival brings together incredible selections of films that inform, inspire, and ignite solutions and possibilities to restore the earth and human communities while creating a positive future for the next generation. Festival-goers can expect to see award winning films about nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice, agriculture, Native American and indigenous cultures. The Festival is also an important fundraiser for the Alliance, our regional offices, and our critical mission to restore and protect the lands, rivers, and streams of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Tickets include one free beer, popcorn, an introduction speech by Shawn Kimbro, raffle prizes, and of course films by Wild & Scenic.
