The food rescue program he champions has volunteers across the DMV using their own cars to transport healthy excess food from businesses to agencies that feed the food insecure.
It will be a festive evening of food, drink and connecting at We, The Pizza on Capitol Hill. Prepare yourself to be inspired by this program that has kept 2 million pounds of food out of landfill, helping the environment and feeding neighbors in need.
