Friends of Wye Mill, Inc Christmas Shoppes

Friends of Wye Mill, Inc., announces three dates to visit the Christmas Shoppes this year. Open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 2 (which will include the popular bake sale), December 7, and December 14 at the Old Wye Mill, 900 Old Wye Mills Road in Wye Mills, the Christmas Shoppes will feature a variety of Mill items, including stone ground flours (wheat, einkorn, rye, barley, and buckwheat) cornmeal and corn grits, as well as pottery, Christmas themed items, festive aprons, and other unique items.

Proceeds from the Christmas Shoppes help to support the operation of the Old Wye Mill, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Old Wye Mill has been grinding grain since 1682 and is the oldest continuously operated water-powered mill in the U.S. as well as one of the oldest commercial businesses in continuous operation in Maryland.
