Join us for the Rising Sun Inn’s Historic Candlelight Ghost Stories Tour on October 18-19, 2019, at the Rising Sun Inn located at 1090 Generals Highway, Crownsville. Tours will be conducted between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., with the last tours starting at 9:00 p.m.
The Rising Sun Inn, with a history spanning four centuries, has been home to many generations of families. Learn about the lives of some of those residents and learn about those residents who never left. This family-friendly ghost stories tour is suitable for visitors of all ages. Hear stories collected from first-hand accounts of ghostly encounters; tour areas of the Inn not regularly open to the public, and top the evening off with some cider and popcorn. While this event promises to be family-friendly, the Inn will be dark with the exception of candlelight. With the sun setting at 6:22 p.m., families with younger children may want to join us at 6:00 p.m. and take advantage of the fading daylight.
Admission is $10 for Friends of the Rising Sun Inn members, $15 for non-members, $5.00 for children ages 3 – 12, and children under 3 are free. Become a Friends of the Rising Sun Inn member when you register for this event and receive your member discount for this event.
