HONfest 2023 pays homage to 30 years of big-hearted, big-haired Baltimore Hons. In 1996, Baltimore Fashion Editor, Vida Roberts wrote: "But big hair alone does not a HON make; a real HON has a generous spirit as big as her BEEHIVE. It's her willingness to scrub, hug, scold and help family and her neighbors that singles her out.”

This year's celebration “On the Avenue” in Hampden continues to feature hand-crafted wares from Baltimore and beyond, a juried selection of unique art and delicious food to satisfy young and old. 

Entertainment includes the legendary Tommy El, Gene Vincent & The Cadillac Cruisers, SONiA disappear fear, The Wild Anacostias, The Fabulettes, Klassic Soul Motown Revue, The T-Fox Las Vegas House Party and so much more!

The Annual Baltimore's Best HON Contest preliminaries begin on 

June 10th at 2:00pm and the finale and crowning of the 

30th Baltimore’s Best Hon is June 11th at 2:00 pm.
