Ignite Annapolis
to
Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts 801 Chase St, Annapolis, Maryland 21401
For the fifth time, Annapolis will play host to Ignite Annapolis, a high-energy evening of 5-minute talks by people who have a burning idea—and the guts to get onstage and share it with their hometown crowd.
The evening will be emceed by local radio DJ Rob Timm of WRNR and is produced in partnership with Annapolis-based non-profit The Friends Foundation. This follows a successful Ignite Annapolis #4, held in March 2019, which attracted an audience of more than 700 people.
All proceeds from the not-for-profit Ignite Annapolis #5 will go to The Capital Gazette Memorial Scholarship Fund benefiting students of the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
Ignite Talks are an international phenomenon and are now being held in over 100 cities worldwide. Ignite presenters share their personal and professional passions.
Tickets for Ignite Annapolis #5 will be $10 and will go on sale later this fall.
