Joyful Enriquez Exhibition

On Saturday, April 22, 2023 the Annapolis Marine Art Gallery will host award-winning marine artist, Joyful Enriquez. Joyful specializes in oil paintings of the underwater world and has shown her work across the globe. Recently she has spent time in Hawaii painting in residencies and exhibiting with Hawaiian galleries such as Gupton Gallery in Kailua-Kona, Holle Fine Art Gallery in Maui, and Tabora Gallery in Haleiwa, HI.

Joyful’s marine life masterpieces are a portal to the underwater world. She is known for capturing movement and the sunlight shimmering through the water. To get this right, Joyful scuba dives and compiles photos and videos of these creatures that she then takes back to her studio and paints directly from. Her research of these animals takes her to some amazing places- in Hawaii she got to interact with an octopus at Kanaloa Octopus Farm.

Joyful is an active member of the American Society of Marine Artists, Society of Animal Artists, Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society and Ocean Artists Society. With these connections, Joyful participates in their exhibitions across the globe. Joyful will be live painting in the gallery on April 22, 2023 from 1PM- 4PM and a reception will be held at 5PM with light refreshments available. The event is FREE and open to ALL!
