The Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse, one of twelve lighthouses to be designated as a National Historical Landmark, is special to many in our community. Sitting on the Chesapeake Bay near the mouth of the Severn River, this lighthouse is the last of the remaining screw-pile lighthouses in its original location.
