Join us for another Mainstay Monday!These eclectic evenings happen every Monday night and are hosted by our own Joe Holt at the piano. Partnering with a special guest. Each week is a unique, one of a kind show. Seating is casual and tables are available (bring your own dinner, if you like) along with a cash bar. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the show starting at 7:00. Tonights guest is saxophonist John Thomas.In addition to his duties as the Programming Manager of the Mainstay, John is a busy performer and educator. John performs regularly as a sideman and with his own groups throughout the Mid-Atlantic, and teaches jazz and saxophone at Washington College and Towson University. Like many ,jazz musicians, John and Joe have both found themselves working frequently with popular music. Tonight John and Joe will take a journey through some of their favorite pop tunes, including music made famous by the likes of Roberta Flack, Michael Jackson, and the Beatles.
