Friday Events:
- William Paca Garden: Visit the William Paca Garden and enjoy the 2-acre oasis of natural beauty laid by William Paca while he built his five-part Georgian Mansion. Although many Colonial Annapolitans had gardens, only his garden was returned to its original splendor.
- Banneker-Douglass Museum: Exhibit: The Radical Voice of Blackness Speaks of Resistance and Joy with works from seventeen Black Maryland-based artists.
- Waterfront Warehouse: Visit a rare surviving example of a small Annapolis waterfront warehouse from the 18th century.
- Historic London Town and Gardens: Spring Re-opening with interpreters, garden tours and interactive activities.
Saturday Events:
- Banneker-Douglass Museum: Exhibit: The Radical Voice of Blackness Speaks of Resistance and Joy with works from seventeen Black Maryland-based artists.
- United States Naval Academy Visitors Center: A fun family filled event demonstrating maritime rope tying! All children will be shown three different knots and will practice on their own lines.
- U.S. Naval Academy: Demonstration of maritime rope tying. Practice your knots! All Maryland residents get a Maryland Resident card for free tours.
- Scenic Rivers Land Trust - Smithsonian Environmental Research Center: Guided hike of the Conte Farm at Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, and a scavenger hunt at the Bacon Ridge Natural Area in Crownsville available starting March 27th starting at the Hawkins Road Trailhead
- Chesapeake Arts Center: Design and assemble your own wooden crab keychain or jewelry. Her Voice, Her Vision, exhibits featuring women artists. Visions and Voices Exhibition by artist Sharon Attaway.
- Annapolis Maritime Museum: Visit Annapolis Maritime Museum permanent exhibit "Our changing Waterfront" with free admission on Maryland day. Join our trained docents for a guided tour, learn about our historic 75' skip Jack Sailboat Wilma Lee, and soak in the views of the Chesapeake Bay from the museum's docks.
- Flag Raising Ceremony: Flag-raising ceremony at Susan Campbell Park hosted by Chesapeake Crossroads
- Goshen Farm Preservation: Scheduled tours of the Goshen Farm house
- Historic London Town and Gardens: Spring Re-opening with interpreters, garden tours and interactive activities.
- Maryland City at Russett Library: This special story time will feature books written or illustrated by Maryland residents and songs performed by Maryland singers. The story time will be geared toward preschoolers and all are welcome.
- Busch Annapolis Library: Youth crafts and activities galore that will take you on a journey from colonial childhood through to the present day and the future! This is a family event for all ages.

- Historic Linthicum Walks: Textiles and costumes through a Historic Lens: Discussions on the research of patterns and appropriate fabrics to be used for designing historic costumes.
- Rising Sun Inn: Colonial costumed docents will answer questions about the history of the Inn. Also, self-guided online tour.
- Museum of Historic Annapolis: Tour the “Annapolis: An American Story” at the Museum of Historic Annapolis to step into over 400 years of our shared history! Explore the Waterfront Warehouse and immerse yourself in the history of our city.
- Hogshead Tavern: Take a short walk down Pinkney Street to Hogshead, where you’ll find colonial tradespeople working hard on their trades. You may find a carpenter, baker, midwife, printer, or sailor sharing their skills. Try your hand at hauling water, mending a shift, or mixing herbs.
- Annapolis Tours by Watermark- The Everything Tour: Join Mistress Mary as she leads guests through the Historic District, ending at St. Anne’s Church. You’ll get a little history, a splash of scandal, some mysterious ghost stories, and much more on this entertaining sampler of Watermark’s various walking tours.
- Odenton Heritage Society, Inc.: Learn about west Anne Arundel County’s colonial settlements in a new display, “Hidden in Plain Sight: Odenton’s 18th Century Past.”
- Chesapeake Children's Museum: Open to visitors at $1 per person, no appointment necessary. Indoor exhibits feature the 1918 Pandemic and Culture Carriers from Latin America. Outdoor exhibits feature: Free to Fish, about the rise of Black watermen, and Hello Radio! about the role of local radio in the era of Black Pride
- Northern Arundel Preservation Society: Exhibits: contributions of African Americans to the military from 1765 to the present and to the development of Maryland; truck farmers in northern Anne Arundel County. Children’s games.
- Discoveries: The Library at the Mall: What Maryland ate, from plate to plate! Take a trip through history by exploring what people ate, from the Indigenous communities of the Chesapeake Bay to present day Marylanders. Self guided stations representing a timeline of food.
Sunday:

- Chesapeake Arts Center - Animals Across Maryland: Visit with live animal ambassadors that are native to our state and create a felt animal mask with Echoes of Nature.

- William Paca House and Garden: Encounter the gentry and tradespeople, our HA living historian volunteers at every turn as they bring the William Paca House and Garden and Hogshead to life. Hear the young voices of the day, sharing their trades and experiences. Family-friendly activities!

- Maryland Hall - Artfest: Spend the afternoon healing through the arts enjoying live arts demonstrations, diverse performances, participate in arts activities, grab a snack from a food truck and more! Opportunities for discounted class registrations will be available as well. Come home to the Hall!
- Annapolis Tours by Watermark- Memorials of Annapolis Tour: Squire Richard (aka The Hon. Richard Hillman) leads a walking tour plaques, street names, and statues. Advance registration is recommended.
- Deale Area Historic Society and Galesville Heritage Society: Celebrating Maryland Day 2023, the Galesville Heritage Society and Deale Area Historical Society are partnering to present "Decoy Carvers of South County", Galesville Memorial Hall, 1-4pm, Sunday April 2, 2023.
- Galesville Community Center: Meet Me At The Crossroads: Connecting African American Heritage and Culture of South County Families, Communities and Churches During the Civil Rights Era
- Captain Avery Museum: Captain Avery Museum will host an art exhibit reception and presentation Empowering Youth Voices for the Chesapeake.
- Annearrundell County Free School Museum: Visitors will be greeted by a schoolmaster and schoolmarm in colonial dress. Visitors will learn how this structure served as a schoolhouse for 144 years and then as a residence.
- The Chesapeake Bay through Ebony Eyes - Chesapeake Children's Museum: The Chesapeake Bay Through Ebony Eyes – Vince Leggett demonstrates local seafood recipes for tasting. Please register in advance.
