Mr. Paca's Garden Storytime
Join us on select Tuesday mornings for storytime and fun activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones (3-7 years) with a book reading, song, craft/art project, and free time in the garden.
This Week's Book: "Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story"
Celebrate Native American Day with us and learn about the rich tradition, culture, and family life of a Native American family. We' ll learn that fry bread is an important dietary staple that became a part of many Native Americans' diets and learn about the Susquehannock, Choptank, and Piscataway tribes that were in Maryland. We will create decorative crafts, visit Farmer Ben in the garden, and take home our very own fry bread recipe!
