Come and be #makingadifference in our community
Parole Rotary will host the Rob Smith Memorial Blood Drive on Monday, 9 February - from 8:30 am to 1 pm, in partnership with Luminis Health / Anne Arundel Medical Center. The drive will take place in the parking lot of the Annapolis Yacht Club with free and convenient parking available for all donors. This annual event honors the legacy of Rob Smith while supporting one of the most critical needs in our community: maintaining a safe and reliable blood supply for local hospitals and emergency care. Donors are encouraged to register in advance using the QR code on the attached flyer to reserve a time slot and help Luminis Health plan for a strong turnout.
Blood donations are essential for surgeries, trauma care, cancer treatment, and patients with chronic and life-threatening conditions. A single donation can help multiple patients, making every donor’s participation a direct act of service that saves lives. Rotary’s collaboration with Luminis Health ensures that every unit collected stays in our region, supporting neighbors, families, and first responders when it matters most. Rotarians, friends, and community members are invited to take part on February 9 and continue Rob Smith’s legacy of compassion and service through this powerful, life-giving effort. Register today.
