Celebrate the career of iconic broadcaster Johnny Holliday with 40 years behind the UMD sports microphone. ! Salute his top-40 DJ days in San Francisco, including co-hosting the Beatles final American concert in 1966; his work with dozens of college and professional teams, the Olympics, and the Masters Golf Tournament; and, his 12 years of Washington Nationals pre and post-game coverage. Many UMD athletes, coaches, fellow broadcasters and production crew members are expected, including Gary Williams, Mark Turgeon, Chris Knoche, Greg Manning, Tom McMillan, and Brett Bessell. Attendees will enjoy cocktail hour with heavy hors d'oeuvres, auction, and a speaker program.
