4th annual SantaCon Kent Island. This "Santa" crawl attracted nearly 1200 attendees last year, generating over $17,000 for local charities. This year the charities involved are The Julianne Rosela Foundation (Ram's Head Shorehouse), Not My Child QAC (The Pour House), Kent Island Beach Cleanup (Blackwater Distillery), and The Jacob Sloan Foundation (El Jefe Mexican Restaurant). We also have a food drive the evening of the event for Haven Ministries. Attendees dress in anything "Santa or Christmas" and start at any of the official venues. When ready to move to the next venue, the attendees board buses that are supporting the event and travel to the next venue. Local hotels Best Western and Holiday Inn Express on Kent Narrows offer discounted rates for guests. This is a fun filled evening, generating good will and dollars for local charities.
