CityDance POP
CityDance POP! will be teaching a Creative Movement class for ages 3-5 at The Kennedy Center's Second Saturday event on March 9th! Get ready to explore balance, coordination and imagination through dance. Parents are welcome to join in on the fun! CityDance POP! offers dance classes where you can move, groove and just have fun! POP! offers more than 20 dance classes for all ages, starting at 2.5 years old and up. Classes offered include: Creative Movement, Ballet, Jazz/Modern, Hip-Hop, Break Dancing, Contemporary, Tap and more. POP! is the destination for high quality, fast-paced dancing fun and the dance studios conveniently located in Tenleytown DC.

¡Vamos a cantar y bailar todos juntos! Join Levine Music’s First Music program as they share selections from Cantemos y Bailemos, a series of early childhood music classes in Spanish for ages 0-5. The First Music program combines the best of early childhood music education practices with fun, dynamic, and creative programs to deliver engaging musical learning experiences for children and families. You and your child will sing, chant, bounce, dance and play simple instruments in a morning of music-making in Spanish! No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary. This workshop is best enjoyed by children under the age of 5.

Circle Yoga
Yoga is a great activity kids and adults can actively participate in together - their whole lives! Circle Yoga's Family Yoga is a playful class designed for kids ages 5 to 8 years to experience yoga with a parent or caregiver. The class will incorporate yoga poses for kids and adults to enjoy together, as well as yoga and mindfulness games and breathing and relaxation techniques. All will leave the class rejuvenated, calmly energized and full of joy.

Washington Ballet
Relish the joy of dance during this fun family dance class. Children will exercise creativity, imagination, rhythm and motion as they explore animals, characters and the physical storytelling through guided improvisation. They will also learn introductory ballet steps and the story of Swan Lake. Most enjoyed by ages 2-5.

You and Me Song Circle with Imagination Stage
You and your child are invited to move and groove with us in this fun, interactive experience with Imagination Stage! In this workshop, an Early Childhood Teaching Artist accompanied by a live percussionist guides you through a musical exploration of a classic children's book. Together we will celebrate with our mightiest voices and dancing shoes as we bring the story to life through song, movement, and instrument play. You & Me Song Circle is part of My First Imagination Stage. The My First Imagination Stage theatre series offers intimate, interactive performances designed for the very young in the DC metropolitan area.
