Start your salute to the Irish and your spring fitness conditioning on this certified fast and scenic course through Denton Saturday, March 14th at the St. Paddy’s Day 5K. Finish line production by Seashore Striders. On-site registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Race starts at 9:00 a.m. at the Fretterd Community Center in Denton. Cost is $12 for the Fun Run, $27 for 5K, $37 for Leashed Lucky Dog entries through March 6. Late registrations, after March 6, add $5. You can register online at seashorestriders.com.
The Lil’ Leprechaun Dash is a thrilling 300-foot chase exclusively for youngsters under the age of 5 from the Denton Child Development Center to the finish line and cheering crowds. Lucky gold medals for all finishers. Dash will be at 8:30 before the St. Paddy Day race and cost is $5 by March 12 and $7 the day of.
