Wellness House of Annapolis Presents Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for the Community!
MBSR is a person-centered educational approach which uses training in mindfulness, meditation, and yoga as the core of a program to teach you how to take better care of yourself and live a healthier, and more adaptive life.
No matter your profession or background, now is the time to make self-care a priority. It is something that is easy to put off until “later”, but so important to do now. Phebe Duff is an amazing certified MBSR instructor with over 10 years of experience teaching this practice. Join us as we take the time to invest in ourselves, de-stress, and learn how to incorporate daily practices to help keep our inner peace during this tumultuous time.
The popular course meets weekly for eight weeks and includes a half day of silent practice. Registration will close after the first session. Will meet Thursdays from August 13, 2020 – October 1, 2020, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Space is limited and registration will close after the first session - so sign-up today!
This course is being offered on a ‘donate-to-participate’ basis for the community-at-large (individuals who are not Wellness House members) with a recommended contribution of $50 – $150 to help support Wellness House of Annapolis' services to our community affected by cancer.
