Born in DC, migrating to Maryland’s Eastern Shore and back again, Cat now serves clients in the DMV area both as a graphic designer and fine artist. In 2009, Cat founded Captain Marketing Solutions, which has provided her the opportunity to work with a range of commercial clients, offering: web design and construction, e-commerce solutions, brand management, logo and package design, social media strategy, print media and publication design, editing, and custom stationery for good pals. When she is able to find the coveted time to create fine art, Cat works primarily in pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylic – all in an illustrative style channeling the organic lines found in woodworking and printmaking and (always the graphic artist) combining this with a primary, symbolic color palette and challenging, dynamic layouts.SUPPLY LIST: You can purchase supplies locally at Art Things or Michael's Craft Store or shop online using our Blick list:To visit this list, please go to https://www.dickblick.com/lists/blicku/JBRK47GF4I7S3/publicview/Assorted Artist Drawing PencilsColored PencilsKneaded EraserDrawing Paper - Mixed Media Sketch Pads are great (9x12")Pencil SharpenerBlending Sticks / TortillonsPaper TowelsCharcoal (vine, pastel, compressed, white compressed or pencil)Watercolor Paper (one pad 9x12")Watercolor BrushesWatercolor PaintsMasking TapeMixing PaletteWater Cups
