On the Eastern Shore, Chef Ian Campbell of Bistro Poplar in Cambridge has been nominated for the "Chef of the Year" award. Additionally, Bridges Restaurant in Grasonville has been nominated as "Best New Restaurant."

In Annapolis, Lewnes Steakhouse has been honored with a nomination for "Favorite Restaurant," while The Rockfish has been nominated as "Green Restaurant of the Year."
Only 35 restaurants in the entire state were nominated for an award. The winners will be honored at the 57th annual Stars of the Industry gala on Monday, May 16, at Martin's West in Baltimore. I'm pulling for our local chefs and restaurants to take top honors! The public can vote for their favorites here.
