With the demise of Morton's Steakhouse and the Annapolis Grill, Park Place will no longer have an extra restaurant space attached to the Westin Annapolis. Hotel owners, Crow Holdings Capital Partners LLC will instead renovate the hotel, turning the restaurant space into meeting space. The hotel rooms, along with the lobby, Azure restaurant, and hotel ballroom, will also get a facelift.

Cakes by Rachael to move locations.
Since its opening, Cakes by Rachael, a mother-daughter bakery specializing in weddings, has been located in Kahve Café in Edgewater. In January 2013, the business will move to its own location at 1993 Moreland Parkway, #104, in Annapolis. Visit Cakesbyrachael.org.

Sherwood Landing earns AAA Four Diamond Rating.
The restaurant at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels is one of only three Maryland restaurants to earn the AAA Four Diamond rating. To earn this rating, the establishments undergo a rigorous inspection that rates the cleanliness, ambiance, amenities, and service. As hotels, the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay resort in Cam idge and the Inn at 202 Dover in Easton were also awarded the Four Diamond rating.
