Cookie dough ice cream was always my first choice growing up. As an adult, I'd rather save the calories and go with fro-yo. This is a somewhat lighter version of my favorite treat.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup own sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup Greek yogurt
Directions
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add in vanilla and mix until combined. Add flour and baking soda and beat until combined. Add in chocolate chips and mix until combined. Fold in yogurt. Transfer mixture to a container and freeze for at least 12 hours before serving.
Serves 4 to 6
