I kid! I use cookbooks still, sometimes. I have at least six of them right here on my office desk, plus another dozen or so at home. However, I can't deny that they are not my number 1 resource—that spot goes to AllRecipes.com. However, food blogs rank high on the list of where I turn to find a great meal.

I don't know if just that the owner of this website and I like to cook the same things, but it seems like every time I put a query into Google for a particular recipe, this website is one of the first to come up. Add in her pleasing pictures and lovely writing style, and you have a winner.

Look, this woman doesn't need a plug from me. If you want an example of someone who started a blog and created an empire, look no farther than Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman. She has all sorts of sections on her blog, but the one I'm interested in is cooking. I even own her cookbook, and she apparently just released the story about how she and her husband met and fell in love.
