r- 1 package spring mix
r- 1 tablespoon butter
r- 2 pears, peeled and sliced
r- ½ cup walnuts
r- ½ cup blue cheese, crumbled

Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the pears until slightly soft. Remove the pears and set aside.

the walnuts to the skillet to toast, stirring frequently for approximately three to five minutes. Remove from heat.

In a large salad bowl, combine the spring mix, walnuts, pears, blue cheese and dried cranberries.

Dress the greens with your favorite salad dressing or with our recommended mustard vinaigrette dressing. To make the dressing, whisk together, 1/3 cup olive oil, 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar, 1 ½ teaspoons white sugar, 1 ½ teaspoons Dijon mustard, 1 clove chopped garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.
