1 pound strawberries, sliced
1 cantaloupe, cut into small chunks
3 large apples, cut into chunks
Assorted other fruits of your choosing
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
10 fresh basil leaves, sliced
Salt and pepper

The preparation really couldn't be any easier. After slicing the fruit into the sizes you want, combine it in a large bowl with the oil, vinegar, basil, and a generous sprinkling of salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and chill until serving.
