Meals don't always need to be gussied and fancy to be tasty. This meat sauce is a classic quick meal with just a little extra something thrown in for a new flavorful twist.
Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey
2-24 ounce jars prepared pasta sauce
2 Tbsp. herbs de provence
1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
Directions
Heat a large skillet over medium high. Add in the ground turkey and own on all sides. Once owned, drain the fat that has collected. Add in the pasta sauce and stir well to coat. Add in the herbs, garlic powder and salt and stir well. Turn down to low, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens a bit. Serve over pasta of your choice.
