CALLING ALL RESTAURANTS, CRAFTERS AND ARTISANS FOR THE TASTE OF KENT NARROWS!
August 3, 2011 – Chester, Maryland. Join the Kent Narrows Development Foundation for their 6th Annual Taste of Kent Narrows held Saturday, October 8, 2011. This fun-filled event is for the entire family featuring food samples from the areas best restaurants, live entertainment, beer garden, local wine tasting, children's activities, demonstrations and much more.
All area restaurants are invited to participate and sample signature dishes. This event is a great opportunity for local Chefs to promote their culinary talents. Last year more than 1,200 people attended not only from Queen Anne’s County but surrounding counties and states as well. Artisans and crafters are also invited to display and sell their wares. Booth rental is $50 for a 10’ x 20’ space or $100 for a 8’x10’ premium space (under the food tent). For business or commercial vendors a 8’x10’ space is $200 (premium only). Sponsorship opportunities are still available and can be a great way for your company to take advantage of the event’s exposure. All vendors, restaurants and sponsors will be listed on the website www.TasteofKentNarrows.org and in the event’s program.
The event is held at the Chesapeake Bay Exploration Center -- 425 Piney Narrows Road, Chester, Maryland. Food tastings will be available noon to 4:00 pm and entertainment will continue until 5:00 pm. Tickets are $25/person in advance or $30/person at the door. Ages 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
